In conversations with a customer that manufactures Hemmers and Tab Benders for the automotive industry, we found their process involved using hydraulic units. The customer was interested in finding a way to save money and run more efficiently, and were open to solutions from the territory salesman. |

Our first item of business was to eliminate the use of hydraulics by using a HyperCyl air/oil intensification cylinder. We showed the customer a HyperCyl Unit, quoting the cylinder system optimized for their application with the following: Special Retract Force, Locking Rod, and the ability for them to Jog the Cylinder. These customer requirements were met with a special order Hypercyl Unit that would meet their cycle time and cost requirements while functioning virtually maintenance free. See the chart below for the advantages of using air over hydraulics. |
