A manufacturer of automated welding equipment was in need of an application solution for lifting a 350 pound floor pan up 24 inches off the floor. The work piece would travel to four stations, where various machining processes would be performed. The manufacturer did not want to dig trenches in the floor. |

MRM's salesman for the particular territory was left with two choices: Let the engineers at the manufacturer's facility fabricate their own design, or work with engineers at Electro Pneumatic Innovations to see what they could come up with. MRM worked with EPI to develop a new lifter they titled "The SL Series." The project manager at the plant liked the design so much, they opted to go ahead with the trenches in the shop floor to accomodate the EPI application solution. |
