- Microgen Dryer System

Problem:

A customer had a 15 Horsepower compressor supplying air to their plant, but they were still getting water at 4 NC machines in the end of the plant opposite their compressor. As the humidity increased, more and more water was being blown onto their expensive tooling (an estimated 8-12 gallons per shift). The customer needed a solution to eliminate the moisture to the NC machines only.

Solution:

The alternatives were to sell a large dryer system that would service the entire facility, or provide a dryer dedicated to the four NC machines. MRM's salesman for the territory worked with the plant's control engineer to provide a solution as soon as possible. Due to the increasing temperature and humidity of late spring and the dangers of worse water problems in the coming summer, the solution had to be implemented immediately. With each day, the compressor generated more moisture, causing damage to the expensive air-operated machinery. Allen provided the customer with a quick, cost effective solution that eliminated the water problem in the 4 NC machines. An Arrow Pneumatics Microgen Dryer Unit was the answer, providing the dedicated service required to fix the customer's application problem.
